Lidya is the newest of the four and the most different. It runs at a level cap of 110 with both Chinese and European playable, and it was built around keeping a server alive for years rather than for a launch month.
What is different here
- The season system
- Daily and seasonal objectives that are generated rather than fixed, and change from day to day: hunt a particular creature one day, something else the next. It is the first system of its kind in Silkroad and it is the reason Lidya plays differently from the other three.
- Degree 11 Nova gear from Venefica
- The Ancient Witch Venefica's hoard is the route to Degree 11 Nova items at launch.
- The Fellow pet
- A companion that carries some of the load on the road, meant to make the job loop less of a chore.
- The IP limit, here as on every server
- Two clients from one connection, and the two are a total rather than an allowance per server. One character on Knidos and one on Nemrut is the whole of it; two on Knidos and a third on Nemrut is not. Multi-boxing is capped rather than left to the honour system, and the disciplinary rules name evading the limit as an offence.
- The Job Cave from day one
- Active during the opening period rather than held back.
Where the IP limit number comes from: the official Lidya article announces the system, saying it exists to keep multiple accounts in balance so everyone competes on equal terms, and it stops there without a number. The number is in Knidos's launch announcement, which sets two characters per IP across the Turkish servers. That the count is shared across all four is our own experience of playing here, and it is the kind of rule you only learn by hitting it, which is why it is written down.
