Karya is the oldest of the four servers and the only one the official guide has no page for, which makes it the hardest to research and the easiest to overlook. What can be measured, though, is encouraging: it runs at a level cap of 110, both races are playable, and it has the least lopsided race split of any TRSRO server, at 695 Chinese to 2,960 European, which is 19% Chinese where Nemrut manages 7% and Knidos allows none at all.
Our crawl also finds more characters and more guilds on Karya than on any other shard. Between the 110 cap, the broadest race mix and the size, it is a reasonable default for someone who wants a full-sized, long-established server without the newest systems. It is still a European-majority server, though: nowhere on TRSRO is close to balanced.
