The number in brackets after an item name is its plus level, and it is the single biggest multiplier on a piece of gear. Normal elixirs raise it with a chance of failure. Advanced Elixirs do not have one.
What an Advanced Elixir does
- Class A
- A guaranteed +1, permanently. A +6 item becomes +7, with no roll and no chance of loss.
- Class B
- A guaranteed +2. A +6 item becomes +8.
How to get one
You do not find them; you make them, by destroying gear you already own. Take an item into the alchemy window with a Destroyer Rondo and break it down. What comes out depends on what went in: weapon, shield, protector or accessory, so an elixir is tied to the kind of item that produced it.
| Destroying | Requirement | What improves the odds |
|---|---|---|
| Unsealed gear | Plus level +5 or higher | Nothing beyond meeting the threshold |
| Sealed gear: Star, Moon or Sun | Sealed status | A higher plus level, and more magic options printed on it |
