Everyone calls them Egy A and Egy B. In the client they are the degree 11 sets, keyed _11_SET_A_ and _11_SET_B_, and the item names give the theme away: Set A is Apetipa, Kefta, Asus, Nektid and Secmetia, and Set B is Isis, Inpu, Amoon, Horushaul, Overlord and Wrath. Three of those are Egyptian gods.
Both are level 101, both cover every race, gender and armour class, and each runs to 94 cards in the item directory. What one character wears out of that is far smaller: six pieces of one armour class, a shield, and three accessories.
The eight names people actually use
Destruction, Immortality, Myth, Legend, Power, Fight. Those words are all over the Turkish forums and they are not slang: the client files the degree 11 sets into eight groups and gives each one of them a name, in refsetitemgroup.txt. So Egy A and Egy B are four groups each, and which word somebody means depends on which slot they are talking about.
| Slot | Egy A | Egy B |
|---|---|---|
| Armour, six pieces | Destruction | Immortality |
| Accessories | Myth | Legend |
| Weapon | Power | Fight |
| Shield | Protection | Guard |
Two copies of every piece
Each piece exists twice, and this is the part worth getting right before spending anything. The plain one carries no seal. The one whose code name ends in _RARE is Seal of Nova, costs about 12 per cent more, and cannot be sold back to an NPC at all: the client gives it a sell price of zero, where the plain one sells for 654,150 gold.
| Piece | Code name | Seal | Sells back for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Amoon Ring | _11_SET_B | None | 654,150 |
| Amoon Ring | _11_SET_B_RARE | Seal of Nova | Nothing |
Who sells them
Three NPCs, and nobody else. They are exchangers rather than shops: the client keys them NPC_SD_MERCHANT_CHANGER, NPC_SD_THIEF_AGENT_CHANGER and NPC_BATTLE_ARENA_EXCHANGER, and none of the three stocks anything but this.
| NPC | Where | Stocks |
|---|---|---|
| Hunter Union Item Exchange manager Bakara | Alexandria | 288 pieces, and all of them armour: both sets, both copies, every race, gender and class |
| Thief Union Item Exchange manager Luresia | Alexandria | The same 288 |
| Arena Item Manager | Hotan Kingdom | 24 pieces, and all of them accessories: rings, earrings and necklaces |
What wearing the set is worth
This is the part that decides between the two, and the client holds all of it. refsetitemgroup points each group at rows in refmagicoptgroup, and those rows are named for the number of pieces they want: MAGIC_11_SET_A_DEFENSE_2, _4 and _6. So the thresholds are two pieces, four, and the full six, and for accessories two and four, four being two rings, an earring and a necklace.
| Group | 2 pieces | 4 pieces | 6 pieces |
|---|---|---|---|
| Destruction, Egy A armour | +1 | +1 and resist all 10 | +2 and resist all 10 |
| Immortality, Egy B armour | +1 | +2 and resist all 10 | +4 and resist all 10 |
| Myth, Egy A accessories | +1 | +2 | — |
| Legend, Egy B accessories | +2 | +4 | — |
What it costs
All of it is in the client, and it took finding twice, because the armour and the accessories are priced in different currencies at different NPCs. Every item a shop sells is a package, and refpricepolicyofitem prices each package once per currency it accepts.
The armour is the Alexandria half. Each of its 288 packages carries a price in gold and a price in a currency the client writes as type 256, and the Nova copies carry a third row in a type 512. Those two currencies buy nothing else in the game: 288 packages on the first and 144 on the second, which is exactly the Nova half, and not one other item in any file. That is the shape players describe as one coin for the plain set and two for the Nova.
| Slot | Egy A plain | Egy A Nova | Egy B plain | Egy B Nova | Gold |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Body | 26 | 38 + 18 | 30 | 46 + 22 | 546,300,000 |
| Legs | 22 | 34 + 14 | 28 | 42 + 18 | 446,900,000 |
| Head | 22 | 34 + 14 | 28 | 42 + 18 | 418,300,000 |
| Feet | 20 | 30 + 12 | 24 | 36 + 16 | 393,700,000 |
| Shoulder | 18 | 26 + 10 | 22 | 32 + 12 | 341,300,000 |
| Wrist | 18 | 26 + 10 | 22 | 32 + 12 | 316,900,000 |
| A full six-piece set | First coin | Second coin | Gold |
|---|---|---|---|
| Egy A, plain | 126 | 0 | 2,463,400,000 |
| Egy B, plain | 154 | 0 | 2,463,400,000 |
| Egy A, Nova | 188 | 78 | 2,755,900,000 |
| Egy B, Nova | 230 | 98 | 2,755,900,000 |
The accessories are the arena half, and a different currency again: type 1024, which every one of the sixty packages priced in it is stocked by the Arena Item Manager and nobody else.
| Accessory | Plain, coins | Plain, gold | Nova, coins | Nova, gold |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Ring, Egy A | 690 | 222,000,000 | 1,062 | 402,000,000 |
| Ring, Egy B | 782 | 246,000,000 | 1,522 | 438,000,000 |
| Earring, Egy A | 758 | 246,000,000 | 1,166 | 438,000,000 |
| Earring, Egy B | 858 | 270,000,000 | 1,670 | 480,000,000 |
| Necklace, Egy A | 888 | 312,000,000 | 1,366 | 564,000,000 |
| Necklace, Egy B | 1,006 | 342,000,000 | 1,954 | 618,000,000 |
The weapons and the shields are the exception to all of it. Sixty-four of them exist as items, Power and Protection on Egy A and Fight and Guard on Egy B, and no NPC anywhere stocks one and no package prices one. The only route to a set weapon that this site can find is the Sea of Resentment collection quest.
As for which coin is which: the client ships four, keyed ITEM_ETC_SD_TOKEN_01 to 04, Copper, Iron, Silver and Gold, carrying the same SD prefix as the two Alexandria exchangers and as every Egypt quest, and no NPC sells one. Players name the two the armour wants as Silver and Gold, and the file agrees in structure, one currency on every piece and a second only on the Nova. The naming is theirs; the amounts above are the client's.
Where the coins come from
Six uniques stand in Egypt, and they are the ones named in that claim. Levels and health are the client's own.
What the files do not say
How many coins a piece costs, and which coin goes with which piece. The shop table names the NPC and the goods and stops there.
And which unique drops which coin. The client ships no drop table for any monster in the game, so the split between Silver and Gold above is the players' word and not ours.
