Knidos opened in September 2023 as a Chinese-race-only server with a level cap of 90, designed around competition and a livelier job cycle than the servers that came before it. The cap has since been raised to 100. Of the 3,368 characters our crawl has found on Knidos, not one is European: the race restriction is still in force.
What is different here
- Caravans pay properly
- The job system was rebuilt because caravan income was not worth the risk. Every 50 job tickets earned puts one of that week's Silk items straight into your item storage, and the reward list rotates weekly.
- Top-tier alchemy comes from jobs
- Level 9 Intensifying Elixirs drop from monsters far more rarely than usual and come mainly from caravans. Magic Stone of Steady and Magic Stone of Luck at level 9 come only from the job system and events; there is no farming route at all.
- The academy was rebuilt
- Honor points are earned through in-game activities rather than accumulated by whoever started earliest, and the ranking resets every month so a late arrival can still compete. Buying Sun-seal weapons through the academy is disabled.
- Pain skills are off
- Celestial Protection, Immortal Victor and Dragon's Measure are disabled, at the players' own request, to keep fights decided by more than one button.
Content at level 100
- Hotan fortress opened with the level 100 update, joining Jangan and Bandit.
- Floors 3 and 4 of the Qin-Shi Emperor's Tomb in Jangan opened at the new cap.
- Medusa spawns at 00:00, 04:00, 17:00 and 21:00 game time, and killing her is worth 50 honor points.
- Battle Arena and the Endless Arena were both added.
- The 71–80 and 81–90 personal and party dungeons were closed.
- The Dimensional Desert was rebalanced to spread the population across the map.
