Roc

Twice a week, 5m gold for the key, eight guardians and ten minutes to breathe before the biggest bird in the game lands on you.

Roc is the single most valuable kill in Silkroad, and the only one the whole server plans its week around. It runs on a fixed schedule, behind a paid key, and it is a sequence rather than a fight.

Getting in

  1. 01Climb to the summit of Roc Mountain and find the NPC Innovator Wing, standing in front of the Commander's Gate.
  2. 02Buy the Key of Bloodline for 5,000,000 gold.
  3. 03Talk to the Commander's Gate with the key. The gate only opens during the scheduled window.

The encounter

  1. 01Eight guardians called Seal Stone of the Essence stand between you and the nest. All eight have to die.
  2. 02Breaking them releases what is inside: seven Wingtribe Knights and one Demon Shaitan.
  3. 03With all eight cleared, Roc grants ten minutes to prepare. Use them.
  4. 04Roc lands.

What it pays

Every Roc that dies yields three special-series Sun Seal items made from its feathers, alongside the rest of the drops. When it falls, a gate appears beside the loot and returns you to Roc Mountain.
